Southern Asia Tribal Outreach is cultivating great leaders by creating a great learning environment geared towards making Christian disciples of all people groups.

Our History

Southern Asia Tribal Outreach (SATO) was created in 2014 as a ministry to fulfill the command set by our Lord Jesus Christ to not only go and preach the gospel but to also make disciples of all nations, teaching all that He has commanded us.

OUR VISION

Our Vision is to fulfill the mandate given to the church by Jesus to make disciples of all nations. This will be done by bringing the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ to people from every people/tribal group and nation through the means of teaching, correcting, and strengthening Christian leaders and churches as well as sharing God's love through compassion care ministries.

WHAT WE DO

Within two years of its inception, SATO has established its presence in northern Myanmar near the city of Lashio. We are focused to make disciples of Christ through 2-year degree programs and pastoral training courses. SATO has also been involved in helping church planters and sponsoring orphanages/mercy homes that were started by graduates of our school of ministry.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to fulfill the mandate given to the church by Jesus to make disciples of all people and to bring the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ to people from every people/tribal group and nation.  With this mandate given to us, a particular focus of ministry will be given to the region of South Asia and then beyond.  Our goal of making disciples will be advanced by the development of leaders with a strong foundation on the Holy Scriptures, the preparation of ministers with practical methods of ministry, the equipping of believers with sound teaching, the establishment of a fellowship ministers and churches, and the ministering of the gospel through the means of evangelism and compassion ministry.  While the gospel will be given to all, our methods of ministry will be geared towards the poor and marginalized people of the society in which they live in.  We will complete this by creating partnerships with other churches and ministries with the same vision.

About Us

Southern Asia Tribal Outreach is a ministry to fulfill the command set by our Lord Jesus Christ to not only go and preach the gospel but to also teach all that He has commanded us. We train future indigenous Christian leaders and have direct engagement with surrounding communities by strengthening them and showing them the love of Christ.
